Salvation Army's North Texas Giving Day Presenting Match Sponsor:

One Meaningful Gift.  Twice the Difference. Give now.

Right now, thanks to a generous matching gift from Morrow Renewables, your donation to The Salvation Army of North Texas will be doubled—but only for a limited time during North Texas Giving Day 2025. That means every dollar you give from August 28 to September 18, 2025, will go twice as far to help local families facing poverty, homelessness, and addiction.

Your gift fuels life-changing programs that serve thousands of our neighbors across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Rockwall, and Ellis counties, including:

  • Emergency shelters and transitional housing for individuals and families
  • Financial assistance and homeless prevention services
  • Food pantries and meal services to alleviate hunger
  • Addiction recovery and rehabilitation programs
  • Youth development and after-school programs

The need has never been greater

  • 829,000 North Texans live in poverty
  • 1 in 5 children is exposed to substance abuse in the home
  • Over 27,000 people in North Texas are experiencing homelessness

But there is hope. You can be part of the solution. When you give, you help provide food, shelter, stability, and dignity—restoring lives and transforming futures.

Together, and in His name, we can ensure no one in our community is left behind.

Giving Activity

Mission

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Needs

The Salvation Army is the largest social services provider in North Texas, impacting the lives of nearly 100,000 children, women, and men struggling with poverty, addiction, and homelessness each year. Through overnight shelter, community meals, food pantries, after-school programs, financial assistance and education, and much more, we meet immediate needs and provide pathways to rehabilitation, healing, and hope.

Funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will support The Salvation Army’s 12 food pantries, four overnight shelters, two addiction recovery programs, children & youth programs, and anti-poverty and homeless prevention initiatives throughout our six-county service area.

The Salvation Army often meets people at a point of crisis in their lives, and helps to address that immediate crisis and move on a path to self sufficiency.

Equity Statement

In providing its programs and services, The Salvation Army is committed to accommodating all those in need without unlawful discrimination or harassment based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other characteristic in accordance with our capacity to help.
