North Texas Giving Day is Communities Foundation of Texas's largest community event and the largest regional giving initiative in the Nation. Since 2009, over $635 million has been raised for more than 3,000 local nonprofit organizations through a single, easy-to-use online giving site. On NorthTexasGivingDay.org, donors can browse thousands of local nonprofit pages and give to organizations spanning over 30 cause areas, all in one place.

North Texas Giving Day 2025 will take place on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. 

North Texas Giving Day is an online event. Most of the activity takes place via our website, NorthTexasGivingDay.org. 

NorthTexasGivingDay.org is a one-stop shop to support local nonprofits year-round. Make one or more gifts to the 3,000+ registered nonprofits in more than 25 cause areas, all in one place. Plus, by donating on NorthTexasGivingDay.org, 100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit, helping to build a thriving community for all. 

You can give with confidence on NorthTexasGivingDay.org because Communities Foundation of Texas verifies each registered nonprofit. 

To be eligible to participate, nonprofits must:

1. Have a physical location or mailing address in one of these 20 counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, or Wise. 
2. Be classified as a 501(c)3 or 501(c)19 by the IRS, be in good standing with the state and IRS, and not be in violation of any applicable state, local, or federal laws, ordinances, or regulations. 
3. Acknowledge that 100% of the funds raised will support programs and services in North Texas. 
4. Complete an organization page that can be placed on NorthTexasGivingDay.org.
