Doodle Rock Rescue has RESCUED, REHABILITATED, and REHOMED 2,000+ poodle mixes since our founding in 2017.

This North Texas Giving Day, Doodle Rock Rescue needs your support more than ever to continue rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming poodle mixes in critical need. Since our founding in 2017, we’ve saved over 2,000 dogs, and we are just getting started!

Every dog that comes into our care receives a second chance at life. Whether abandoned, neglected, or surrendered, they are given the medical care, love, and stability they deserve before being placed in a carefully matched forever home.

We focus on the dogs who need us the most. Many come from high-kill shelters in North and South Texas, where limited resources and overcrowding mean vulnerable dogs are often first on the euthanasia list. Others arrive with urgent medical needs—broken bones, heart conditions, dental disease, severe infections, or life-threatening illnesses like parvovirus or distemper. These cases often require intensive treatment and rehabilitation, with medical costs ranging from $350 to over $5,000 per dog.

Yet we never say no because a dog is “too sick” or “too broken.” That’s when they need us the most.

We are a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue—which means every dollar donated goes directly to the dogs. From emergency surgeries to food, medicine, and behavioral training, your support fuels every transformation and every tail wag.

Our Impact

  • 🐶 2,000+ lives saved since 2017
  • 🏥 Hundreds of critical medical cases treated annually
  • 🐾 Dogs rescued from over 30+ shelters nationwide
  • 💛 100% donor-supported & foster-powered

Our Current Need

We are facing a $50,000 funding gap to meet our projected $400,000 annual operating costs. Your donation this North Texas Giving Day will directly contribute to saving lives, funding emergency medical procedures, and supporting our dedicated foster network.

Every gift makes a difference—whether $10 or $1,000. For example, a $100 donation can fund life-saving surgery for a dog in need, and $500 can cover critical medical treatment. No amount is too small when it comes to saving lives.

Please join us this North Texas Giving Day by donating, sharing our mission, or volunteering. Together, we can continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome poodle mixes in need. Donate now!

Giving Activity

Mission

Doodle Rock Rescue (DRR) is a foster-based, volunteer-run dog rescue on a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused, neglected, and abandoned poodle mixes. This North Texas Giving Day, we aim to raise critical funds to support urgent medical cases, senior dogs, and dogs from overcrowded shelters in South Texas—some of the highest-kill shelters in the country.

With your help, we can be the voice for the voiceless and save lives, one doodle at a time.

Equity Statement

At Doodle Rock Rescue, we are dedicated to promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity in all aspects of our mission. We believe that every doodle, regardless of their size, age, or background, deserves a chance for a loving forever home. Our commitment to equity extends to our human community as well. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all volunteers, donors, adopters, and veterinarian partners are treated with fairness and respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or socioeconomic status. We acknowledge that achieving true equity requires ongoing learning and growth, and we are dedicated to continually enhancing our practices to ensure a more just and compassionate world for both dogs and the people who love them.
