Unmuted: Restoring Safe Spaces for Black Women
$0 Raised
Healing should not be a luxury.
Black women consistently face higher unemployment rates and greater workplace instability, increasing their risk of financial stress, burnout, and mental health challenges.
The Lotus Club is a North Texas-based nonprofit supporting Black women navigating workplace trauma, chronic stress, burnout, and systemic barriers. We provide culturally responsive and affirming access to therapy, wellness resources, and community spaces that support healing, emotional well-being, and long-term stability.
This North Texas Giving Day, your donation will help:
Too often, Black women carry the weight of unspoken stress while facing limited access to care. Your support helps remove those barriers and ensures that no one has to navigate healing alone.
Every dollar directly supports access to care, community, and the opportunity to rebuild.
Give today. Help someone rest, heal, and move forward.
To support Black women in healing from workplace trauma, chronic stress, and burnout through culturally responsive and affirming resources and programs grounded in community care and collective healing.
The Lotus Club is raising funds to expand access to mental health care and community support for Black women across North Texas, specifically in Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin counties.
Our most urgent needs include:
Expanding the Bloom Back Initiative to fund therapy sessions and provide mental health support for women navigating job loss, workplace trauma, and burnout
Sustaining Unmuted, our free monthly virtual support series, ensuring continued access to safe spaces for connection, reflection, and collective healing
Covering costs for healing-centered workshops and wellness experiences focused on mental health, stress relief, and identity restoration
Providing accessible community spaces where Black women can gather, build relationships, and receive peer support during times of transition
Your support allows us to remove financial barriers to care and ensure that healing remains accessible, not exclusive.
The Lotus Club centers the healing, voices, and lived experiences of Black women who have historically been overlooked and underserved in traditional wellness and professional spaces.
We believe every Black woman deserves access to mental health care, safe and affirming community, and the opportunity to thrive without barriers rooted in race, gender, or socioeconomic status.
Our work is grounded in equity, dignity, and access. We are committed to disrupting cycles of harm and building systems of care that are culturally responsive, community-centered, and designed to support long-term well-being.
