Bloom Back is a six-month healing cohort for Black women in North Texas built on the belief that real recovery requires a real relationship, not a transactional subscription.

Most of our participants arrive with app-based mental health support already in hand. It is a start. But an app cannot guarantee a therapist who understands the particular weight of what these women carry. It cannot offer sustained, culturally grounded care across a full six months and it cannot build community.

We Proved it Worked

In October 2025, seven women said yes to themselves, their healing and to doing the work. They gathered bi-monthly, committed to six months of therapy through our partnership with BetterHelp, and showed up even when it was hard.

Every woman who started, finished.

Their closing ceremony, Night in the Noire Garden, sold out.

"I joined at the height of a lot of anxiety and stress — workplace trauma, unfair treatment. I needed more than family and friends. Bloom Back gave me resources, understanding, and the confidence to lean forward instead of just leave. Especially right now, with the job market the way it is — I've learned I can cope. I can get through this season until it's time to move forward."

We Are Ready For Season Two

Cohort 2 opens mid February 2027, eight women, six months and the same promise.

Your gift funds a therapist who sees her, a community that holds her, and a closing ceremony where she is honored.

Texas has the highest uninsured rate of any state — 19.2%, nearly double the national average. Black women here are navigating a mental health system that was not built for them, at a cost most cannot absorb alone. Bloom Back exists because that gap is real.
