At the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS), we are committed to advancing the understanding of the mind, brain, and behavior across the lifespan. Our interdisciplinary research spans neuroscience, psychology, and communication sciences to further our mission of studying biology and psychology of thought and language, development & aging, pain, social interaction and perception in both healthy adults and children and in those with illness or atypical development.
From studying the biology of thought and language to developing interventions for PTSD and tinnitus, BBS researchers are at the forefront of discoveries that shape the future of behavioral and brain sciences. But our work is not just about today’s breakthroughs—it’s about empowering the next generation of scientists who will carry this mission forward.
