Support the Next Generation of Scientists at the Center for Vital Longevity
As our understanding of the brain across the lifespan deepens, so does the importance of promoting cognitive health—especially in later life. At the Center for Vital Longevity, we’re advancing research in lifespan cognitive neuroscience to better understand how the brain changes over time and what supports healthy cognitive function. Our efforts aim not only to identify those at risk for conditions like Alzheimer’s and dementia, but also to uncover ways to preserve and enhance cognitive abilities throughout life. But our work doesn’t stop there—it's about empowering the next generation of scientists who will continue these innovations.
By supporting the Denise C. Park Research Excellence and Innovation Fund, your gift directly impacts the education and research of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. These young scientists are at the forefront of discovering solutions that could transform cognitive health.
Your support helps fund:
- Critical research projects led by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows.
- Opportunities for mentorship and hands-on experience in groundbreaking cognitive science.
- The continued advancement of innovative research to improve aging and memory health.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps move this critical research forward. Whether you give $5 or $500, your donation fuels vital scientific discoveries that can change lives. Join us today in supporting the future of cognitive health.
Interested in making a larger impact? You can also join the Director’s Research Circle (DRC), a community committed to advancing research in aging and cognitive health. Members of the DRC have exclusive opportunities to interact with CVL’s internationally recognized scientists.
If you're interested in learning more about the Director’s Research Circle, please contact Erin Dougherty, Sr. Director of Development, at 972-883-3938 or erin.dougherty@utdallas.edu.
DRC Membership Tiers:
- Silver ($1,000): Invitation to all DRC programs, public lectures, and recognition in CVL materials.
- Gold ($2,500): Invitation to an annual meeting with CVL leadership, supporting both research and DRC programming.
- Platinum ($5,000): A portion of your gift directly supports CVL’s research, with a Graduate Fellowship Award in your honor for a student’s work.
No matter the size of your gift, every contribution helps fuel vital research and supports the future of cognitive health. By donating today, you are directly advancing research that can change the future of aging and cognitive health. Join us in making a lasting impact as part of North Texas Giving Day 2025
