$5,000 Goal

All adoption applicants are thoroughly screened using our online adoption application that includes checking vet and personal references, personal interviews, as well as a home visit. Secondary objectives include education in proper nutrition and canine wellness. All dogs are spayed/neutered (if medically appropriate) and heartworm negative prior to adoption. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every Senior and Special Needs Boston Terrier has the chance to live the life they deserve.

Our Needs

Our #1 need is responsible, loving foster homes. Without fosters, we are limited in the number of dogs we can help. Every foster home that signs up and accepts a new foster dog is essentially saving two lives - the dog they agree to foster, as well as the dog who will take his place at a local shelter!
ABTR also needs volunteers who are willing to pick up dogs from shelters, transport, work with us at community rescue events, assist with administrative duties, solicit donations, support current foster homes, and more. We are always looking for artistic/crafty volunteers to help with fundraising, too!

Giving Activity

Mission

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to the health and well-being of all Senior and Special Needs Boston Terriers. Our mission and main objective is to rescue and rehabilitate homeless Boston Terriers.

Needs

Our #1 need is always local foster homes.

We would also happily welcome volunteers interested in helping out with administrative tasks, reference checks, transports (local and longer distances), fundraising, accounting, social media and PR.

Please contact us at info@abtrr.org if you’d like to join our team. We’d love to chat with you!

Equity Statement

ABTRR is an all volunteer organization that is inclusive of everyone no matter their race or gender.
