Nexus Family Recovery Center is a substance use disorder (SUD) residential treatment and family healing center that addresses homelessness, family disruption, economic distress, and incarceration. Unlike most providers, Nexus delivers a fully licensed, Joint Commission Accredited, family-centered approach to substance use disorder recovery, regardless of clients’ ability to pay.
This North Texas Giving Day, we’re highlighting the transformation that women go through on their recovery journey.
Each donation you make to Nexus will be assigned a butterfly and added to a dynamic piece of art that will be displayed at NorthPark from September 17 - 30!

Our vision is to provide pathways to possibilities for women seeking recovery. Our treatment program is evidence-based and encompasses several proven modalities to treat the whole woman. We offer an array of comprehensive services, including specialized residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment services, as well as therapeutic treatment and care for their accompanying children. We remove barriers unique to women by allowing children to accompany their mothers into treatment and serving pregnant women throughout their pregnancy.

- $5,000 provides one month of basic needs and care for 10 children in our Child Development Center
- $2,500 provides one week of hot meals for 10 moms and their children in residential treatment
- $1,000 provides one month of hygiene products for 50 women
- $500 provides one week of diapers for 20 babies accompanying their mothers in treatment
- $250 provides an hour of speech therapy, occupational therapy, or counseling for children in our residential programs
- $100 provides a round trip to Parkland for a prenatal visit
- $50 provides one week of diapers for two babies accompanying their mothers in treatment
