Help Make a Difference

Together, we can make tomorrow look different for our neighbors across North Texas.

This North Texas Giving Day, I’m raising funds for Central Storehouse to help provide healthy food, dignity, and hope to children, families, veterans, and seniors facing food insecurity in our community.

Central Storehouse is about more than groceries. It’s a place where neighbors are welcomed, relationships are built, and people are connected with support and resources to help them move forward.

Central Storehouse matters to me because I have volunteered there for the last five years and I have met the people we serve.  They are great people.  I am amazed by what brings them there.  Afghan refugees, walker from far away places, people with medical bankruptcy, single moms needing help to raise three daughters on a teaching salary. Because we treat everyone with dignity and respect their circumstances don't drive our view of them.   Any of us could be in similar circumstances. Auto accident, not enough social security income to pay the rent,  or fleeing a dangerous environment. 

It's why I take a lot of satisfaction by Loving on our neighbors.  I would appreciate any help you can give.  We have a match so your contributions will double your gift.
