Central Storehouse exists to love neighbors and feed souls across North Texas.
We are a free food market where individuals and families can choose healthy groceries in a space rooted in dignity, respect, and genuine care. Everything we do is guided by our commitment to human dignity, healthy relationships, life transformation, investing in the next generation, and Christ like service.
In just under 5 years of operation, because of the generosity of our donors, we have served more than 45,000 individuals, providing high quality, healthy food to over 14,000 unique households. We have been serving neighbors in a real and consistent way, meeting both physical and relational needs across our community.
Each week, families, veterans, and seniors walk through our doors carrying more than just the weight of food insecurity. Many are facing isolation and uncertainty, and we meet them not only with nutritious food, but with intentional care and meaningful connection.
We actively fight the loneliness epidemic by creating spaces for healthy relationships to form. In our Hope Zone, neighbors are invited to sit, share their stories, and connect with volunteers who are there to listen, encourage, and walk alongside them. It is here that people receive not only resource referrals, but also the kind of connection that restores hope and reminds them they are not alone.
Our impact extends beyond our walls. We partner with 8 local schools to provide healthy food bags for food inseruity students, helping ensure children are nourished, supported, and set up to thrive.
As the need continues to grow, so does our vision. We have stepped into a new building that is triple in size, allowing us to serve many more families. This new space will allow us to provide more food, deepen relationships, and create greater opportunities for life transformation.
For North Texas Giving Day, we are raising $60,000, which represents one full month of operations at the Storehouse. These funds will go directly toward stocking our shelves with healthy food, supporting our school partnerships, and ensuring we can meet the growing demand in this next season.
Every dollar given does more than provide a meal. It restores dignity, builds connection, and creates opportunities for lasting change.
Together, we are loving neighbors and feeding souls.
Loving Neighbors. Feeding Souls.
