Riley’s BGDB 8/28 Giving Day Fundraiser

Hi, I’m Riley!

I love this organization because it provides resources to dancers in need to ensure they have access to funding and dance apparel that helps to keep them dancing during summer intensives and other programs throughout the year.  

The mentorship program is also nice because it provides a way for me to connect with dancers who like me and have decided to pursue dance in college or in their professional lives.  It also is so encouraging to know that I have a community of girls who are super supportive to one another and show their support through regular outreach and motivational gifts.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, and to be a part of an organization that was created to encourage and motivate other dancers is so encouraging. 

Although this organization’s headquarters is based in Texas, there are many opportunities for dancers across the country to join the BGDB mission, or even to apply for scholarships and other benefits offered.

Today, we are asking for your help.  The main headquarters in Texas recently experienced water damage and mold. There has been a very quick exodus out of the building so that repairs can begin and the organization can continue its work expeditiously.
