Bridges Safehouse – Standing in the Gap for Mothers and Children

Every month at Bridges Safehouse, we witness the quiet but powerful courage of mothers who are doing everything they can to provide for their children. Many of them come to us in moments of crisis—homeless, jobless, or without the support of family—and together, we walk with them as they rebuild their lives.

This year alone, we have given away over 10,000 diapers and 12,000 wipes each month to mothers who otherwise would not have enough for their babies. These may seem like small items, but for a struggling mother, diapers and wipes are essentials that bring relief, dignity, and hope.

But with recent government cuts to programs like ours, the need is growing, and the challenge is greater than ever. Bridges Safehouse is committed to providing these supplies—and so much more—completely free of charge. Along with diapers and wipes, we offer safe shelter, educational programs, transportation, life-skills training, and a caring community that helps mothers and children take their next steps toward stability and independence.
