Jonathan Lobel's Fundraiser for Friendship

Volunteering at the Friendship Circle has been a very meaningful experience for me. Every time there is an event, I look forward to seeing familiar faces. I realize that I can make a big impact on the lives of children with special needs by consistently showing up for them. Through my time at Friendship Circle, I have learned the importance of patience, empathy, and reliability. Building genuine relationships has taught me that even small acts of kindness—like listening, playing a game, or simply being present—can make someone feel valued and included.

I’ve also gained a deeper understanding of what community really means. Friendship Circle has shown me that everyone has unique strengths, and that creating an environment of acceptance and joy can transform not only the lives of the children, but also the lives of the volunteers. The experience has helped me grow more compassionate and grateful. Most of all, I’ve learned that friendship and connection are powerful forces that can break down barriers and create lasting happiness for everyone involved.
