The Friendship Circle exists to bring happiness and companionship to children and young adults with special needs by celebrating their individuality, as well as bringing energy, support and peace of mind to their families.
Friendship Circle of Dallas is a community-based program that brings together people of diverse abilities and interests. At Friendship Circle of Dallas, it is believed that all people have the same needs. These needs include friendship, fun, opportunities to grow, the ability to contribute and to belong. Friendship Circle of Dallas is devoted to addressing those needs in an accessible environment that provides any necessary support to bring out the best in everyone.
Friendship Circle is a place where all children have friends, and all families receive support. Friendship Circle creates a happy space where children, teenagers, and parents form authentic and lasting friendships that transcend the bounds of abilities or neighborhood.
Friendship Circle of Dallas is seeking support for the agency's programs that offer unique opportunities for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Friendship Circle of Dallas is open and available to all. The organization is committed to providing safe spaces for children and youth with developmental disabilities to grow and engage with one another, with freedom from discrimination, harassment or judgement. Friendship Circle of Dallas recognizes a lack of activities that exist for intellectually and developmentally disabled children and youth and is committed to providing a positive inclusive environment.
