At Lighthouse School of Fort Worth, we believe every child is worthy of education—and every child deserves a place where they are understood, supported, celebrated, and given the opportunity to thrive.

For many of the families who come to Lighthouse, finding the right educational environment has not been easy. Their children may learn differently, communicate differently, or need a level of individualized support that simply isn't available in a traditional school setting.

Lighthouse was created to be that place.

Since opening our doors in 2023, our school has experienced incredible growth. Today, Lighthouse serves 65 students, with more than 30 families on our waitlist searching for an educational home for their child.

But growth also brings an important responsibility: making sure we have the resources to continue saying YES to the children and families who need us.

This North Texas Giving Day, we're asking you to help us Light the Way.

Your gift directly supports the programs and resources that make a Lighthouse education possible, including:

• Financial assistance so a family's financial circumstances don't have to determine whether their child can access the education they need
• Individualized academics and specialized classroom resources designed around each student's unique strengths and needs
• Communication and behavioral supports that help students build confidence, independence, and meaningful skills
• Enrichment opportunities such as art, music, movement, cooking, life skills, and community experiences
• Transportation and student experiences that allow our students to learn beyond the classroom
• Continued growth so Lighthouse can serve more of the families searching for a place where their child belongs

At Lighthouse, progress isn't measured by one definition of success.

Success might be a child communicating what they need for the first time.

It might be sitting alongside classmates, developing a friendship, trying something new, participating in a school activity, mastering an academic concept, or becoming more independent.

For our families, these aren't small moments.

They're everything.

And they are possible because people in our community choose to believe in these children alongside us.
