About Threads for Change
Threads for Change bridges fashion and education to empower individuals from all walks of life. We believe that the right tools — professional clothing, mentorship, and skill-building — can open doors to life-changing opportunities. Serving communities across Dallas–Fort Worth, we focus on youth empowerment, career preparation, and long-term success.
About the Dress for Success Program
Our Dress for Success Monthly Career Readiness Workshops provide:
Professional Attire — Participants receive ties and a chance to win a tailored suits to make a strong first impression.
Skills for Success — Training in soft skills, interview prep, and workplace etiquette.
Inspiring Mentorship — Access to speakers from diverse industries who share real-world guidance.
Hands-On Learning — Activities that build confidence, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Each workshop costs approximately $8,000 to organize and serves 50 participants — that’s $160 per youth to help them look, feel, and perform at their best.

Our North Texas Giving Day Goal
This year, we aim to raise $24,000 to fund three Dress for Success workshops between October and December. Your donation will directly help young people in North Texas enter interviews, internships, and career paths with confidence.
