Everyday we receive urgent pleas for help, Great Pyrenees dogs who have been dumped by the roadside or left to a grim future in local shelters. Sometimes, desperate owners who can no longer care for their Pyr contact us and beg us for help so that they don't have to send their dog to a shelter.
Dogs come to our foster homes with broken legs, broken hearts, fear, and sadness. Some are just babies still with their mothers and others are adults who have been abandoned near the end of their life.
The dogs who come to us don’t always come healthy. Many need urgent surgeries, hospitalization, heartworm treatment, wound care, diagnostics, medications, and expensive emergency vet visits before they ever get the chance to find a home.
This is why this year, we’re raising funds for one very important thing: our Emergency Medical Fund. From May 14 through May 31, your donation helps us keep saying YES to the pyrs who need critical care the most 🩵
And on kickoff day, May 14, the FIRST $100 donated per donor will be matched dollar for dollar while matching funds last, doubling your impact for the dogs.
