Making Room for the Magic

Every costume, prop, set piece, and painted backdrop tells the story of a child who discovered confidence, creativity, and community through theatre.

In just three years, Irving Youth Theatre has produced 13 musicals, and we've been blessed with generous donations of furniture, lumber, costumes, props, and scenic elements that allow us to create high-quality productions while keeping costs as affordable as possible for families.

We've simply run out of room.

Our rehearsal space at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (ORLC) has served us well, but we've outgrown the storage room available to us. Thankfully, ORLC has generously offered space on their property for a shipping container that will become IYT's backstage storage home for items that don't need a climate-controlled environment.

Our goal is to raise $2,200 to purchase a gently used shipping container where we can safely store the sets, props, costumes, tools, and production supplies that make each new show possible.

This isn't just a storage container—it's an investment in every future production, every young performer, and every audience member who will experience the magic of live theatre.
