Give a Book, Change a Life with Sara

At Book Drive for Kids, we put real books into hands of elementary aged children that have very little books at home. This organization encourages reading and imagination as well as sharing love and hope to young kids.  

When you donate to Book Drive for Kids, you are NOT just giving a book, you are giving a child the joy of reading. Reading for pleasure sparks imagination, builds confidence, and strengthens literacy skills. So many smiles and excitement comes from each child knowing they get to take a free book home with them. 

At Book Drive for Kids, we host free book fairs throughout the DFW area at elementary schools where 70% or more of the students come from disadvantage backgrounds.  Every child gets to browse tables filled with books, select one that excites them, they then get to write their name in it, and take it home to enjoy and share! 

Our goal is simple but powerful: to place 20 books in every household where children currently have none.  With as little as $5, you can put a book into the hands of a child who will thrive because of your generosity. 

Meeting my goal of $2500, will fully fund one book fair for a school in North Texas.
