Because honest conversations about substance use can change lives — and sometimes save them.

Winning The Fight is more than where I work. This mission is deeply personal to me.

I know firsthand what substance use can take from a person and a family, but I also know what recovery can give back. That experience is a huge part of why I believe so strongly in honest conversations about drugs and alcohol, especially before a family is in crisis.

Every day at WTF, I get to see what happens when we stop being afraid to talk about this stuff. We walk into schools and have real conversations with students. We sit with parents who don’t know what to do next. We connect families with treatment and recovery resources. We put Narcan into the hands of people who may someday use it to save a life.

And sometimes, we simply give someone a safe place to say, “I need help.”

That’s why I’m raising $2,500 for Winning The Fight this North Texas Giving Day.

Your donation helps us continue providing drug education, family support, resources, referrals, and lifesaving Narcan throughout North Texas. It helps us reach another classroom, another parent, another teenager, another family.

I can’t promise that one conversation will change someone’s life.

But I’ve seen enough to know that sometimes it does.

That’s why I fight. And I’d be incredibly grateful to have you fight alongside me.
