💥 About Us 💥

At Winning The Fight (WTF), we believe that authentic conversations save lives.

We provide education, prevention, and real support to families, teens, individuals, and communities impacted by substance use and mental health struggles. From school presentations and Narcan trainings to support groups and street-level outreach, we show up with honesty, compassion, and zero judgment.

Whether it’s a grieving mother, a seemingly hopeless addict, a teen just experimenting, or someone simply wanting to be prepared-we don’t shy away from the hard stuff. We meet people in the messy moments and have the conversations most people avoid. Because that’s where change starts.

Our work is deeply personal. WTF was founded by Kathy O’Keefe after losing her son to an accidental overdose- and today, we carry that legacy forward by speaking the truth, fighting stigma, and building community.

When you support WTF, you’re helping us:

  • Equip teens with facts -not fear tactics- about substance use

  • Support parents and caregivers with trauma-informed care

  • Distribute life-saving tools like Narcan

  • Train schools and communities to prevent and respond to overdose

We’re not here to sugarcoat it- we’re here to save lives.

Join the fight. Be part of the conversation—because one conversation truly can save a life.

Mission

Winning The Fight is a community resource providing education, support, and guidance to individuals and families who struggle with the disease of addiction

Needs

The Hispanic population is a huge part of the served communities and we are looking to provide subtitles for our documentary "Just Once" that is used as an educational tool in schools, court programs, other education programs. We also have a video about specific drugs and how they act in your body which we would like to film in Spanish.

Equity Statement

Addiction doesn’t discriminate- and neither do we.

We serve all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, background, or economic status. Everyone deserves access to education, support, and the opportunity to heal.
