Many lives have been impacted by Mrs. Oxley and her idea to create a place especially for students with dyslexia and related learning differences. Students come to SoL feeling defeated as they struggle to read and many have begun to believe that they will never be able to read let alone succeed in life. Not only can we help them to decode words and read with fluency, we can also show them that they are gifted and intelligent in a way that is by design. SoL Instructors are certified professional teachers who are highly specialized in working with students who have learning differences. We have seen students progress 4 grade levels in only a 2 year span!
We limit class size to 8 students or less so that we can tailor instruction to each individual student in a way that is best for them. This creates an environment that is beneficial for both social and emotional learning. Kids who attend School of Lexia are truly thriving while reaching their potential.
