School of Lexia

School of Lexia is a fully accredited, nonprofit private school and tutoring center serving students with dyslexia and related learning differences, including ADHD, dyscalculia and dysgraphia.

Through small classes, specialized teachers and structured multisensory instruction, we help students become confident, independent learners who understand their strengths and are prepared to reach their full potential in school and beyond.

For the 2026–27 school year, School of Lexia is serving students in grades 1–8 at our new campus on the property of Camp Anothen in Mansfield. After years of planning, we moved into the new building just weeks ago. This campus gives us room to strengthen our programs and prepare to welcome more families searching for an educational environment designed for the way their children learn.

Our Needs

Dear Friends and Supporters of School of Lexia,

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment where they are understood, supported and equipped to succeed. For families of students with dyslexia and related learning differences, however, finding an appropriate school can be difficult—and specialized private education is often financially out of reach.

School of Lexia works intentionally to remain one of the most cost-effective, high-quality specialized education options available to Texas families. We keep tuition as affordable as possible while providing the small classes, specialized educators, research-based instruction and individualized support our students need.

For the 2026–27 school year, we have already awarded $120,561 in financial aid to families who need help accessing a School of Lexia education.

Our North Texas Giving Day goal is to raise $60,000—nearly half of this year’s entire financial-aid commitment.

School of Lexia founders Linnéa and Jason Oxley have committed a $12,000 matching gift. Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar until the full $12,000 match has been unlocked.

A $50 gift becomes $100.
A $250 gift becomes $500.
A $1,000 gift becomes $2,000.

Funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will help us:

• Fulfill the financial-aid commitments already made to students for 2026–27

• Sustain small classes and specialized instruction

• Support the teachers, curricula, technology and multisensory materials our students need

Tuition provides an important portion of our operating revenue, but it does not cover the full cost of maintaining a specialized educational program—especially while School of Lexia continues to provide significant financial aid. Philanthropic support bridges that gap and helps us preserve both the quality and affordability of our school.
