This North Texas Giving Day, I’m raising funds for Harmony's Whole & Empowered Initiative—a yearlong, cohort-based program designed to addresses the root causes of poverty. The agency is committed to more than temporary relief—they’re investing in lasting transformation for our community.

Why Give?

Founded by Concord Church in 2001, Harmony CDC has been a pillar of support for families across Southern Dallas for more than two decades. In 2024, the agency served 12,000 individuals through food distribution, housing assistance, counseling, career coaching, and financial education—empowering people to build new skills and plan for a brighter future. As public funding becomes increasingly uncertain, community support matters more than ever. Every gift helps move families from crisis to stability—and ultimately, toward wholeness. Give Early — While the official giving day is September 18, 2025, early giving runs from August 28 to September 17. Your early gift helps us build momentum and reach more families with critical support. Celebrate at Harmony Day — On September 14, 2025, join us at Concord Church after the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM services for our annual celebration! Stop by to make a donation, meet the team, and explore ways to get involved. Enjoy music, food trucks, a vendor fair, and a special t-shirt giveaway—all in support of Harmony’s mission.
