Empowering Communities.
Transforming Lives.
Join Harmony CDC in building Whole & Empowered communities across Southern Dallas—one family at a time.

Why Give?
As Harmony CDC celebrates its 25th anniversary year, we honor a legacy of service that began with Concord Church in 2001. Since our founding, Harmony has served more than 198,391 individuals, provided more than $7 million in housing assistance, and delivered more than 19,675 licensed counseling sessions - work made possible under the leadership of Board Chairman Pastor Bryan Carter and Executive Director Mark Porter.
At the heart of our mission is the Whole & Empowered Initiative — a yearlong, cohort-based program designed to address the root causes of poverty. Participants receive tailored coaching, counseling, case management, and access to vital wrap-around resources, all under one roof. This holistic approach promotes long-term progress and lasting change.
As public funding becomes increasingly uncertain, community support matters more than ever. With the support of our 25th Anniversary Campaign Chairs & Co-Chairs who are leading the way, your gift helps sustain this legacy and move families from crisis to stability, and ultimately, toward wholeness.
Honorary Chairs: Mr. Johnnie & Dr. Devla King, Mr. Roland & Mrs. Jewel Parrish
Honorary Co-Chairs: Ms. Alberta Blair, Dr. Don Blair & Dr. Gayle Blair, Dr. T. Lamar and Mrs. Kimberly Goree, Mr. Bert & Mrs. Pam Maxwell, The Honorable Royce West and Mrs. Carol West.
