From Streets to Suites: Fund the Kitty Cottage

We have a 25k match on donations that will give the cats of Fort Worth the next level up in rescue! 

This North Texas Giving Day, we’re dreaming big, $75,000 big, to build something truly life-changing for our cats: Saving Hope's very first Kitty Cottage, right on our property in Aledo!

This will be a cat paradise designed to give once-forgotten cats a safe, sun-filled, and enriching indoor life while they await their forever homes. 

Each Kitty Cottage holds up to 30 cats and includes:

- Air conditioning & plumbing for year-round comfort

- Windows & natural light for lounging in the sun

- A “catio” (a cat-safe outdoor patio) for enrichment

- Home-like living space that helps adoptable cats shine

- Room to play, rest, and be loved, many for the first time ever

These Kitty Cottages will not only provide a safe, healthy environment for cats who once struggled to survive on the streets, they’ll also serve as a welcoming space for adopters to meet their future feline companions at our ranch. It’s a win-win for cats and the people who love them.

Why It Matters:

Most of the cats we rescue have been abandoned, injured, or simply born in the wrong place at the wrong time. While many do better inside, they still crave sunbeams, fresh air, and space to explore. That’s what the Kitty Cottage provides: the best of both worlds.

Saving Hope Rescue is a non-profit organization determined to put an end to animal abuse and neglect by attacking the over-population problem in our community and putting an emphasis on Education and Adoption. We are a Foster-based rescue proud to be located in the loving community of Fort Worth, Texas. However, our stories of HOPE reach around the globe!  

PROVIDING A VOICE FOR EVERY ANIMAL

At Saving Hope we ensure see that every animal knows love and kindness. No animals should endure needless pain and suffering or lack of safety and comfort. We are providing a voice for the animals that sit chained up with limited access to food and water, the animals who are born into hoarding or breeding situations, animals who are beaten, abused, neglected and forgotten, and the animals who only need comfort in their final days.

They find refuge, medical treatment, housing, training, spay or neutering, microchipping, and most importantly comfort and a chance to live through Saving Hope. 

Alongside the Saving Hope Foundation, began by Fort Worth philanthropist and animal lover Kit Moncrief, our mission is to end animal abuse and neglect by addressing dog and cat overpopulation in our community through an aggressive spay and neuter campaign.
