Heritage Farmstead Museum holds a special place in my heart because it brings together so many things I value—history, community, family, and friendship.

Some of my favorite memories at the Farmstead have simply been spending time there with family and friends, enjoying the traditions and experiences that make it such a special part of Plano. To me, that is what makes the Farmstead so meaningful. It doesn’t just preserve the stories of our past—it gives us a place to create new stories and memories of our own.

I’m honored to serve as Vice President of the Heritage Farmstead Museum Board and to have the opportunity to help care for a place that has meant so much to our community for generations.

The Farmstead is truly living history. It is where children can experience history beyond the pages of a book, families can spend time together, students can learn through hands-on experiences, and our community can connect with the people and traditions that helped shape Plano and North Texas.

And preserving a place like this takes all of us.
