Science clicks when students get to do it! Children are already asking questions about the world around them. Why did that plant grow? Where did the water go? What made the soil change?

Science starts there. But in an already packed school day, teachers don’t always have the time or resources to follow where those questions lead. Out Teach helps them make room for it. We provide practical training and ready-to-use lessons that connect science to the real world, and to what students are already expected to learn. Students aren’t only hearing about science. They’re investigating it for themselves.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS

Last school year, we worked with:

9,267 NORTH TEXAS STUDENTS

642 TEACHERS

19 SCHOOLS

YOUR GIFT HELPS TEACHERS CREATE MORE MOMENTS OF DISCOVERY WITH:

• Practical training teachers can use right away

• Ready-to-use lessons connected to grade-level learning

• Materials students can use to observe, test ideas, and gather evidence

• Continued support that helps teachers make real-world learning part of everyday instruction

THIS WORK STARTED IN TEXAS.

Nearly 20 years ago, Out Teach began with a simple idea: when teachers can connect learning to the world around students, school starts to feel different. Students lean in. They ask more questions. Something that felt abstract begins to make sense. North Texas is where this work began. It remains a vital part of where we’re going next.
