Seed Change. Grow Futures for North Texas Kids.

Out Teach is a national non-profit organization driven by a powerful vision of education that is not just about the present, but about the future—a future where every child, regardless of their background, is equipped to become the innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers our world so urgently needs. We help teachers in schools across the country transform the outdoors into active learning labs that unlock the wonder of science for students.
Out Teach is on a mission to spark curiosity and confidence in today’s elementary students, so they grow into the fearless innovators and leaders our world needs.
Created by teachers, for teachers, our model equips educators in underserved schools with the coaching, tools, and support to bring science to life in hands-on, meaningful ways. When students experience learning that connects to the real world, they discover new ideas, pursue new possibilities, and see themselves as scientists.
We’re building a future where every child is prepared to meet challenges with courage and passion, and where diverse leaders step boldly into STEM careers to solve the problems of tomorrow.
Your gift to Out Teach plants the seeds of change, helping inspire a generation of young learners ready to thrive and lead.
North Texas is full of innovation and opportunity, but many students here get just 18 minutes of science a day. By supporting Seed Change this Giving Day, you’ll help ensure local kids have the chance to explore science early and see themselves as the future leaders our community needs.
Out Teach is built on the fact that new and different experiences add knowledge and perspectives that help everyone grow and succeed. We embrace diversity, equity, and inclusive practices not only because they are morally important, but also because these efforts strengthen our organization so that we may better serve our partners and move them toward their goals. The ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion guide our staffing, partnerships, and strategic decisions every day. It is the way we are meant to be: Ourselves, Fair, and Present.
