Allie's Haven's Healing Hearts Medical Fund helps us save dogs, like the ones described below, by providing lifesaving medical treatment to injured and neglected animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Charlie

Charlie was hit by a car and brought to a shelter badly injured. No one came for him, and he urgently needed a rescue to step in.

We said yes.

Charlie suffered a collapsed lung, pneumothorax, pulmonary contusions, a fractured front leg, and severe trauma that caused him to bite his own tongue. With emergency medical care, time, and love, Charlie made a full recovery and is almost ready for his forever home.

Callie

Callie was found wandering around an elementary school in Cleveland for days, gently approaching children as if she was asking for help. Once safe at our rescue, we discovered her leg had been broken for a long time and never healed correctly. She was also heartworm positive and pregnant.

Since coming to us, Callie has received a spay, a leg amputation, and is now finishing heartworm treatment. Through it all, she has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving with everyone she meets.

Brody

Brody was hit by a car in Fort Worth. A kind stranger rushed him to the emergency vet and stayed with him for hours, refusing to leave his side. Allie's Haven stepped in to assume his care.

Brody was treated for a collapsed lung (pneumothorax), pulmonary contusions, and a leg laceration caused by the accident. After emergency stabilization, he was transferred to another veterinary hospital where he continued to receive medical care and monitoring.

Today, Brody has fully recovered, has been adopted, and is living his very best life.

Lumi

Lumi, a 2-year-old stray picked up while pregnant, suffered a devastating post-surgical complication in Fort Worth after her spay. She removed her cone, reopened her incision, and experienced a life-threatening evisceration.

She was rushed into emergency surgery and survived. Lumi was then transferred to our veterinary partner and subsequently into a foster home for rehab. Lumi is now thriving in her forever home.

Despite everything she has been through, she remains a sweet, trusting girl.

Wyatt

Wyatt’s story is one of resilience and transformation. As a puppy surviving on the streets of Fort Worth, he was severely underweight with mange, hair loss, and painful, infected skin.

Despite his rough start, his gentle spirit never faded. With medical care and a loving foster home, Wyatt healed and blossomed into the happy, healthy dog he was meant to be.

Today, Wyatt is thriving in his forever home with his best friend, Allie’s cat Valentino, surrounded by an amazing family.

The Healing Hearts Medical Fund helps dogs like Wyatt receive the urgent medical care and second chances they deserve.
