At Three Leaf Literacy Leadership and Learning Institute, we believe students can’t focus on learning when they are uncomfortable, cold, or self-conscious.
In many low-income communities across North Texas, students come to school wearing:
- Jeans that are too small, too large, or worn out
- No jackets during cold weather
- Clothing that affects their confidence and ability to engage
The Jeans & Jackets Campaign is designed to provide middle school students with:
✔ Properly fitting jeans
✔ Warm jackets for winter
✔ A sense of dignity, confidence, and belonging.
Imagine sitting in class all day in jeans that don’t fit…
Or walking to school in the cold without a jacket…
For many students, this isn’t imagination—it’s reality.
When students feel uncomfortable or embarrassed, it impacts:
- Participation
- Attendance
- Self-esteem
- Academic focus
We’re not just providing clothing—we’re restoring confidence.
