Hello, friends and supporters!

As you know, St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School is crucial to me - and I'm excited to launch a personal fundraiser to support SMC. 

Believing that the Catholic school is at the Heart of the Church and continuing in the traditions established in 1944 by Father Sebastian, the Carmelites, and the Sisters of the Holy Spirit, St. Mary of Carmel instills spiritual development through Catholic doctrine, traditions, and the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

SMC fosters intellectual growth through rigorous classroom activities that stimulate the mind, promotes physical development through purposeful wellness and athletic programs, and cultivates social awareness through community service projects that benefit our neighborhood, parish, and diocesan communities. 

The primary goal of our school community is to build the Kingdom of Heaven by forming saints and scholars who are prepared for college preparatory high schools. 

Why I'm Fundraising for St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School

St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School holds a special place in my heart. I have seen firsthand the incredible impact it has on our community and the lives of our students. The commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment where faith and learning go hand in hand is genuinely inspiring. I recall watching a group of fifth-graders perform a play about community service, in which they explored the values of compassion and giving back. It was a beautiful reminder of the values we hold dear at SMC and the character it helps build in our children.

What I love most about St. Mary of Carmel is the unwavering commitment to inclusivity. With 87% of our students receiving financial assistance, the school ensures that every child, regardless of their background, has access to a quality education rooted in Catholic principles. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference—just $87 can provide essential curriculum materials for one student, helping them thrive in their educational journey.

A Fun Twist!

To add some excitement to my fundraising efforts, the grade level that raises the most funds will get to "pie" the principal on Friday, September 19, 2025.
