The Quispicanchi Project (QP) is a Dallas-Texas based non-profit organization that focuses on supporting people in need in Peru.
Our Goal: Conduct our 2nd Annual Dental Mission in Sullumayo, Cusco (November 2025)
Background: Situated above 14,000ft, Sullumayo is a remote community in the Quispicanchi region in Cusco, Peru. Families in Sullumayo live as far as two-hour walking distance from one another. Communities like Sullumayo live in extreme poverty and experience high levels of isolation lacking access to life's basic needs.
One of Quispicanchi Project's primary objectives is to address health issues. In 2024, thanks to your generous support we were able to deliver our first annual dental mission treating over 200 children and adults! Thank you for making this happen!
However, our friends in Sullumayo still need our help. The majority of children and adults in Sullumayo experience
> Tooth decay
> Oral infections
> NO access to dental health care due to living in isolation and extreme poverty
To address this, we want to conduct our 2nd Annual Dental Mission!
In November of 2025, the QP Team will bring a group of dedicated professionals and volunteers from the U.S. and Peru to provide dental health care to the people in Sullumayo. This team will conduct oral examinations, treat cavities, address infections and attend other dental complications. In addition, this mission will support an ongoing dental hygiene program at the Virgen del Rosario school which reinforces the importance of keeping your teeth clean!
