Arianna Teixeira for Chamberlain Ballet '25

Hi! My name is Arianna, I’m 14 years old and a freshman in high school. This is my second year as a Senior Company member at Chamberlain Ballet. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and have been part of Chamberlain since I was 6, so it is truly been a part of half my life. Chamberlain Ballet is a nonprofit pre-professional dance company in Plano, Texas, and it has become a family to me.

I love Chamberlain Ballet because it challenges me to grow as a dancer, inspires me to push my limits, and surrounds me with amazing teachers and friends who share the same passion. Thanks to the support of generous donors, Chamberlain Ballet is able to stage full-scale theatrical productions, provide world-class instruction to students, and share the arts with underprivileged and underserved members of our community. Being part of this incredible organization has shown me how dance can touch lives, and I feel so lucky to contribute to that impact.

I’m especially excited for this year’s performances, including our Nutcracker, which has always been my favorite. I love bringing the story to life on stage and sharing the magic of dance with our audience. I’m also looking forward to our spring show, where I get to continue exploring new roles and challenges as a dancer. Each performance is a chance to grow, connect with my fellow dancers, and celebrate the art that I love so much.
