Why should YOU support Chamberlain Ballet?

For over four decades, Chamberlain Ballet has been more than a stage for beautiful performances; it has been a home for young dancers to grow, dream, and discover their potential. What began as a vision has become a legacy, enriching the lives of so many students and bringing the joy of dance to our community.

Your support makes this possible. Every donation helps provide exceptional training for aspiring dancers, opportunities for professional performances, and outreach programs that make the beauty of ballet accessible to all.

When you give to Chamberlain Ballet, you’re not just supporting an art form; you are nurturing creativity, discipline, and confidence in the next generation. You’re helping to ensure that live performances continue to inspire, educate, and uplift audiences of all ages.

Be a “Chamberlain Champion” and stand with us as we continue this journey, empowering dancers, engaging our community, and keeping the magic of ballet alive for the next 40 years and beyond.

About Chamberlain Ballet

Chamberlain Ballet is a pre-professional ballet company founded in 1984. Located in  Plano, Texas, our not-for-profit organization is committed to enriching the North Texas community with dance performances, enlightening with arts education, and encouraging  through our outreach programs.

Through the support of our generous donors and sponsors, Chamberlain Ballet is able  to stage full-scale theatrical productions for the public, provide world-class instruction  and opportunities to our dancers, and share the beautiful art of dance with the  underprivileged and underserved members of our community.

Whether instilling a work ethic of will and determination in our students or sparking an  artistic light in a fellow community member, Chamberlain Ballet is proud to build  Classical Foundations for Life®.

We enrich through performances

Chamberlain Ballet’s 2025-2026 season will see productions at the Eisemann Center, at the Robinson Fine Arts Center and a number of smaller performances throughout the year at various local festivals.

The Nutcracker: November 28, 29, 30, 2025

Featuring Principal Guest Artists from New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.

Family Ballet Series - Peter & the Wolf: April 18, April 25 2026

One of our favorite story-book works comes to life in a family-friendly performance.

We enlighten through Arts Education

Classical training is a foundation for life and we strive to share dance education with as many young students as we can.

Training

With your support, we are able to offer advanced classical ballet training for pre-professional students. We develop their technique in all dance genres through intensive workshops and master classes with world renowned dancers and teachers. Our Artists-in-Residence program allows choreographers to re-stage classical works and present to the public in a Community Engagement Studio Event.

Educational outreach

RelevĂ© is an After-School Dance program for at-risk children ages 6-11. We partner with Title 1 schools in Plano to provide free weekly dance classes to those who might not otherwise have access to learn. Since it started in 1996, the program has reached over 3,000 students.

Shining Stars is a dance program providing specially adapted classes for children and young adults with disabilities. The classes provide the opportunity for creativity, self-expression, and movement through the art of dance.  Since its inception in 2005, our Shining Stars program has reached over 500 students at no charge to the families.

Each spring we celebrate dancers from our Relevé and Shining Stars programs at their annual dance recital, giving all our students the opportunity to perform on stage.

Scholarships

Chamberlain Ballet provides scholarships for students to study dance, both locally and at some of the world’s top ballet and dance programs. Thanks to our donor and sponsor support, some students have become the first in their families to attend university and/or  work professionally in the arts. We are proud to help bring forth continuing generations of artists in our community and around the world.

We encourage through community outreach

Community Connections

Through our Community Connections performances, Chamberlain Ballet provides free access to professional quality performances for under-served, at-risk, front line workers and military families. Since beginning this program in 1991, over 41,000 individuals and families have enjoyed a ticket to one of our performances. This year, we aim to provide 2000 seats as part of our Community Connection initiative.

Please Support the Art of Dance
