Segue Living Center Food Compassion Team

I was inspired to start Segue Living Center  as a result of my unsheltered experience in 2019 which is captured in my book, The Suffering Won't Last Forever.

Since its inception, led by our amazing board of directors, our volunteers have served thousands of families at the local shelter, through agency referrals, and with community collaborations with community partners who share our like vision.  We love serving families!

Segue Living Center's action objectives are to provide aid, raise awareness, and advocate for families including veterans who would otherwise not be heard or know where to go for help.

Monthly, we provide support services at the local shelter including breakfast and basic essentials for the families and facilitate and provide supplies to the women in the mandatory empowerment class.

Annually, except during the COVID pandemic, we volunteer with the Point In Time Count with the local police, housing department, and a community of organizations that are passionate about reducing and eradicating homelessness.
