Allie's Haven is always ready to take on puppies and kittens -- providing them with safe foster homes and the medical care necessary to make them ready to go out in the world and find their forever homes.
Many of our puppies come from moms who needed help from Allie's Haven to protect and care for their little ones:
- Astrid was dumped on the side of a road in a cornfield and gave birth to 10 puppies inside a drainage pipe.
- Delilah was trying to protect her seven puppies behind a mechanic garage near an old apartment complex.
- Lyra delivered her babies in a shelter.
These brave mommas did everything they could to keep their puppies alive until rescue could reach them. Because of dedicated volunteers, fosters, and supporters, these families got the second chance they deserved.
Allie's Haven also has sweet kittens that are looking for a home!
Current kitten crew at Allie’s Haven:
- The “Jonas Brothers” — Nick, Kevin & Joe: bottle babies from the Fort Worth shelter, no mama.
- Teddy, Bessie, Harry, Jack & Jackie: found abandoned in a box at the Weatherford shelter.
- Poe, Paddington, Teddy Bear, Blue, Boo-Boo, Yogi, Smoky & Winnie: rescued from an Arlington owner along with their mamas. Allie’s Haven took in the kittens while sponsoring the moms to be spayed and returned home.
- Five new bottle babies: their mama was killed on the road. They’re currently being cared for by a foster with a nursing mama cat.
- Charlie, Evie & Murphy: three black female kittens rescued by a Good Samaritan from a colony.
- Friday: found at just three days old and raised as a bottle baby. Pre-adopted.
- Fuego: rescued from the mud near the Trinity River and raised as a bottle baby. Pre-adopted.
Thankfully, the kittens are spread across several foster homes 😀
Help us to take care of these little ones and find them homes!
