I’ve been fortunate to have a strong community of family, friends, and colleagues who helped guide me through life and taught me the skills I needed to succeed. At Our Friends Place, we’re doing that same life‑changing work for young women—and young men—across North Texas.
As we head into 40 years of impact, our mission remains clear: provide safe transitional living for young women experiencing homelessness and equip them with coaching, stability, and the life skills needed to build independent futures.
Through our SOAR to Success program, we extend that impact even further—partnering with schools and nonprofits to help youth develop self‑sufficiency while giving adult allies the tools to support them along the way.
