Surviving on the street is not a life skill young women should have to learn.

We need Changemakers like you to help us change outcomes by giving today! Your contributions equip young women with tools to thrive.
They build life skills and boost self-confidence, paving the way to lasting independence.

Our Friends Place is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to helping young women break generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness. Our strength-based, solution-focused programs utilize trauma-informed care and research to teach skills young women skills needed to succeed in adulthood

Our Friends Place relies on donations from Changemakers like you to support a continuum of care for young women that stretches across North Texas. Our service-rich Transitional Living Centers are more than a home – they’re a place for young women ages 18-24 to focus on school, start a job, learn life skills, and save money for their future. Our Friends Place’s innovative SOAR to Success program reaches out to young women and adult allies to create safe space spaces for brave conversations and skill-building; to help prevent them from experiencing homelessness.

Since 1987, Our Friends Place has ignited generational change in the lives of more than 5,000 young women as they excel, grow, and flourish.

Help us change the trajectory of young women's lives, and pave the way to their independence.
