For 40 years, Big Thought has invested in the creativity and potential of young people across North Texas. For more than 25 years of that journey, I’ve had the privilege of being part of this work—and I’ve seen what happens when young people have the space, tools, and trust to create.
This summer, Creative Solutions youth took the stage and showed us what’s possible: all of their solutions are creative.
Through our longstanding programs like Creative Solutions and Thriving Minds After School, we’re giving young people the skills, experiences, and opportunities to create, lead, and shape what’s next.
Meaningful creative programming doesn’t happen by accident. It takes planning, collaboration, family partnership, impactful teaching moments, and a commitment to celebrating every milestone along the way.
Earlier this summer, I shared with the Wallace Foundation that building a stronger Big Thought means we can continue serving youth and our community for the long run.
