On his last day of Creative Solutions, a student who spent two years in the program wrote a poem. One line stood out:
“And found community in the people who showed up every time.”
He wasn't writing about donors. He was describing them anyway.

"Two years of growing in halls where ideas ignite Creative Solutions
Where students learned to turn small sparks into full-blown light student growth
We walked in unsure, but walked out with purpose in our stride
CS became a place where our confidence learned to rise
We built projects, dreams, and futures with our hands and minds
And found community in the people who showed up every time
For the students who’ve been here just as long as me
You know the grind, the laughs, the late nights, the victories we’d see shared journey
We learned that growth isn’t loud — it’s steady, patient, slow
And sometimes the biggest wins are the ones only we know
Creative Solutions taught us how to build from the ground
How to speak with intention, how to stand firm and proud
It showed us that creativity isn’t just art — it’s problem-solving too
It’s finding answers in places no one else knew
And now tomorrow comes, carrying my final day
A chapter closing softly, but not fading away

To build creative, hands-on skills with young people, so they’re ready for work, school, and life.
$25 – Provides a year of supplies for a young person in an after school poetry program.
$50 – Provides supplies for 25 young people in a design workshop.
$100 – Provides the stipend for a professional teaching artist to lead a creative workshop.
$250 – Sponsors a hands-on, youth-led community care project.
Our long term vision and driving force is that ALL youth in marginalized communities will be equipped to imagine and create their own best lives and world.
