$55,000 Goal

For 37 years, Big Thought has created programs and experiences designed with youth, where their voices lead, their ideas matter, and their creativity drives change.

We prioritize youth voice because young people are experts in their own lived experiences, and when they help design the spaces and opportunities around them, those experiences are more relevant, impactful, and transformative. This is how we CREATE GREAT.

From afterschool and summer learning to leadership development and workforce readiness, Big Thought offers programs that meet young people where they are and help them grow. This includes Thriving Minds After School, which provides enriching afterschool experiences; Dallas City of Learning, a citywide network of out-of-school opportunities; Creative Solutions, our 30-year arts-as-workforce program; and the National Opportunity Youth Incubator, which amplifies youth voice in shaping local and national solutions.

Your gift this North Texas Giving Day fuels opportunities for youth to share their voices through poetry, art, and storytelling, to lead projects that shape their communities, and to learn in environments where their lived experience is valued.
