Annie's North Texas Giving Day Goal

My name is Annie Silliman, and I am very excited to be starting my first year as a part of the Paper for Water Change-Makers Council! Paper for water is an amazing foundation that works to bring clean and accessible water parts of the world that don’t have it. They have had amazing success, and they are able to fund the wells that bring water by folding and selling beautiful pieces of origami. Some of the installations that the foundation has made are displayed in places like The Galleria, The Crow Museum of Asian Art, and many more. The world water crisis effects more than a quarter of our world’s population. Every 15 seconds a child dies from unclean water, and many little girls spend all their time hauling water rather than going to school. These issues are very serious, and Paper for Water is working hard every day to end them. I ask you to help me reach my goal of 500 dollars to donate to the foundation and help win our fight against the world water crisis.
