Our mission was born out of the desire that two little girls, Isabelle and Katherine, had to help girls worldwide go to school instead of hauling water all day. We know that global solutions start with local training and leadership development. Paper for Water trains and empowers volunteers of all ages to save lives, enable education, and make a real impact in the world. To be more precise, Paper for Water:

- Provides access to clean water and sanitation worldwide
- Educates volunteers and students about the world water crisis
- Promotes Christlike servant leadership and compassion
- Connects individuals locally to transform the world globally
- Builds character through meaningful volunteer opportunities
- Equips and develops leaders
- Champions entrepreneurial mindsets that seek solutions to world problems

Our Needs

Specific needs include funding for additional water and sanitation projects around the world; funding for emergency water tanks and home water systems for people living on the Navajo Nation without running water; funds for programs to further youth leadership development; volunteers willing to be trained to give presentations to school groups and organizations; mentors for school clubs and for leadership training; supplies including computers, laptops, printer, industrial-grade paper cutter, plastic storage boxes; beads; professional expertise in leadership development programming.

Paper for Water's primary mission is to bring water and the Word to the Thirsty, one piece of paper at a time.
