Give the Gift of the Stage

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre.

Participating in a musical production helps young people develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, communication, leadership, self-discipline, and lifelong friendships. The lessons learned on stage often last long after the final curtain call.

At Irving Youth Theatre, we believe that a family's financial circumstances should never determine whether a child has the opportunity to shine. Our mission is to provide high-quality musical theatre experiences for students throughout the DFW metroplex, regardless of where they attend school or their family's ability to pay.

Producing a musical is expensive. Between performance rights, theatre rentals, sets, costumes, props, technical equipment, and production expenses, each show typically costs $10,000–$20,000 to bring to life. Because Irving Youth Theatre is an all-volunteer organization, we work hard to keep participation fees as affordable as possible, but we know that even those costs can be out of reach for some families.
