I AM ME Initiative

The I AM ME Initiative is Ardyn Hope’s signature mental health and empowerment program for teen and young mothers. Rooted in trauma-informed care, the program provides the tools, mentorship, and community support that young parents need to thrive.

Our Mission

I AM ME provides teen and young mothers with trauma-informed support, counseling, and mentorship—helping them strengthen their confidence, voices, and futures for themselves and their children.

We know that young parents are capable of achieving incredible things when they have access to the right resources. Many face unique challenges such as childcare responsibilities, limited support systems, or school interruptions. I AM ME steps in to ensure they do not face these barriers alone.

Through individual and group counseling, self-advocacy training, postpartum support, parenting education, and mentorship, I AM ME empowers young moms to pursue education, achieve stability, and discover their voice as leaders in their families and communities.

A Story Shared by Many

Many of the young mothers who come to I AM ME share a common story. They are often balancing schoolwork with caring for a newborn, while navigating financial stress and uncertainty about the future. Some arrive feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn for help.

Through I AM ME, they gain access to weekly support groups, counseling, and a mentor who walks alongside them. They learn how to budget, set goals, advocate for themselves, and make plans for their education and childcare. Over time, we see their confidence grow. Babies thrive in more stable environments, and many moms even step into leadership roles, encouraging others who are just beginning their journey.
