When donations get matched to support the ministry God has me doing, I'm going to ask big, annually.

$2,035

raised by 10 people

$2,500 goal

Family and Friends, It used to be my "fear" to ask for donations, but now I see it as my honor. Because of donations, I have been blessed for 19 years to be able to offer spiritual support inside the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice Center. Since this is a non-profit organization, asking is the only way to generate my income.

Now that our own kids are older, Josh & I speak more openly at home about the ministry God has me doing: praying with detained juveniles, their parents, and occasionally victims. As a result of the (careful) stories I share, I believe our kids are growing more comfortable lending a caring ear or at least offering compassion to their hurting and lost and angry friends and classmates. Their faith is growing as they learn more about the purpose of prayer, and they are learning the appreciation of trusting God to provide for our needs. Your giving is getting paid forward for Kingdom causes!

HERE'S WHAT I'M REALLY PRAYING AND ASKING THIS YEAR:

Either...

* A one time gift of $25 or more.

or

* 100 friends to give $10/month for the next year. (If you're an established donor already, would you consider increasing your gift by $5/month?)

The point of the smaller gift/month giving is two-fold. One, for all budgeting purposes at NewDay, and two, for me to be able to share with our kids that small gifts matter. 99% of your gifts go directly to my salary. Thank you for your consideration in investing both, in the ministry at the JJC as well as inside the walls of the Lambert family! Love and God bless you all!
