NewDay walks alongside parents through classes and coaching, on their journeys to becoming the role models their children need to grow up in a safe, loving home. When parents are supported, children thrive.
For over 27 years, NewDay Services (NewDay) has been in pursuit of ways to better engage and empower struggling parents. We understand the instability children experience growing up without the full support of cooperating parents struggling to raise children amidst broken relationships, economic stability, and failed expectations. NewDay has provided healthy parenting classes and life-coaching to fathers/mothers involved in Child Welfare Systems referred from the Family Courts, CPS and Privatized Child Welfare Services.
We believe when parents are empowered to protect and nurture their children well, children, families, and our communities are stronger. As such, NewDay Services offers mothers and fathers an interactive learning experience (FOCUS Curriculum) and a highly relational, dedicated point of contact (mentor navigator) to help mothers and fathers realize their potential as parents.
NewDay Services also provides the following:
- Family Services: Families going through a break-up face unique challenges as they try to navigate through the court system. They often feel isolated, confused, angry, hurt and sometimes helpless. NewDay Services provides anger resolution, mediation and individual counseling services, teaching co-parenting skills and coaching through reconciliation.
- Chaplaincy: For over 25 years our NewDay Services’ chaplains have worked in the hallways of the Tarrant County Family Law Center courts and the Tarrant County Juvenile Justice/Detention Center offering spiritual guidance and support to families and children. Judges, seeing families in distress, now have some alternatives and can either court order or recommend our classes.
