Every 83 minutes, someone in Denton County reaches out for safety, and my organization, Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF), is there. As the only provider of comprehensive domestic violence and sexual assault services in the county, served 5,330 clients, completing a total of 126,935 services (42,351 hours) answered 6,505 crisis calls, and provided 10,940 nights of shelter. Violence is rising, and survivors need more than a bed. They need hope and healing. This North Texas Giving Day, help us reach our $15,000 goal to provide safety, shelter, and support to those in need.
