Our Needs

Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County is a critical resource Greater Tarrant County area families families need. During the fall 2022 school year, CIS Social workers will be in schools in person in school districts that are providing in person learning and they will continue to connect with at-risk students and families by phone and virtual visit as needed in schools where virtual learning is in place. They will keep them connected to the resources they need now more than ever. And during this time when everyone's mental health is being tested, Tele-therapy continues to deliver mental health counseling services to those who need it most.

Here's an example of what your dollars can do to help CIS help those who need it most

$10- provides 1 student with a meal bag for either Thanksgiving or Winter Break.
$25- provides 1 student with school supplies for the year.
$50- provides 20 students snacks for 1 week.
$100- provides 10 students with a meal bag for either Thanksgiving or Winter Break.
$250- provides 10 students with school supplies for the year.
$500- provides intensive case-management services for 1 student for the school year.
$1000- Provides intensive case-management services for 2 students for the school year.
$1,500- Provides Mental Health Supports to 1 student for the school year.
